Former residents of Riverview recently returned to the home for an afternoon of food and fellowship with our therapy department.

Residents at Riverview always enjoy their weekly visits from our volunteers Peggy McCracken and “Precious.”

Residents recently enjoyed a fun filled outing where they picnicked, fished, and cruised around the lake for a joy ride.

This month the Residents of Riverview were treated to a wonderful gospel play presented by the traveling group, ”Adventure Land Ministry.”

Stakeholders from Riverview recently took a group of residents down to Prestonsburg High School to enjoy the sights and sounds of the Circus being in town.

Recently, the great Kenny “Sky” Walker of the University of Kentucky graciously took a couple of hours out of his busy schedule to spend the evening with the folks here at the home. Riverview residents were pleasantly surprised by their special guest.

Several residents enjoy taking care of our garden here at Riverview.  Recently, staff and residents were treated to a delightful cooking of fried green tomatoes fresh from our garden!!

Local musical group, “The Swinging Sensations”, came by to entertain the residents of Riverview with a Patriotic show.

Riverview Health Care invited neighborhood children to our annual Vacation Bible School. Residents and children enjoyed a week of food, fun, and fellowship!

Riverview’s relay for life team recently raised over $3,000 during our community’s annual walkathon at the Big Sandy Community & Technical College.  Community involvement is always important to the stakeholders and residents at Riverview!
