The new “Appalachian Heritage Music Program” presented by Chaplain Phillip Ramey made a debut at Riverview today. The audience was taught about the roots of Appalachian music and the origin of various instruments, all while being entertained by the songs of our mountain heritage. Ramey, along with special guests Aaron Davis and Jacob Calhoun, had the crowd clapping and smiling as they took a journey through history of Appalachian music. This program will be held the last Friday of each month.
