A Gospel Sing and Auction was held on Saturday, April 26 at Riverview. It was a beautiful day for this outdoor event. Many of our elders, stakeholders, and people from the community attended. The singing was done by Steppin’ Out on Faith, The Blanton Sisters, and Riverview’s own Donnie Cole and Phillip Ramey. A number of items that were donated by local businesses were auctioned off during the day, and concessions were sold. In just over two hours Riverview was able to raise around $800 for our American Cancer Society – Relay for Life Team! This was a great day and a fantastic event. Our elders are already asking when the next Gospel Sing will be.
