It was certainly an eventful day at Riverview as everyone was in the holiday spirit. The fun began with our Christmas party for the elders. Santa delivered gifts to each and every elder here in our home thanks to a number of successful fundraisers held this year. Next, a small group of kids from Prestonsburg Elementary delivered gifts they bought with money they raised themselves. The Prestonsburg volleyball team shared juice, doughnuts, and gifts with our elders as well. Then, Santa was in the house while the community and staff helped deliver gifts from the “Facebook Angels.”
