Mark your calendars for the 2nd Annual Riverview HealthCARE/Prestonsburg Blackcat Football – Blackcat Run 5k and Tailgate Party. This year’s event will be held on August 15 at 9:00 am. The Race will begin at Prestonsburg football field with one lap around the track. The course will continue through downtown Prestonsburg to the Honda Shop and back, and end with a final lap around the track. Every participant that crosses the finish line will receive a finisher’s medal. The race shirts for this year are a must have. There will be special awards for the top three overall male and female finishers. A drawing for door prizes will be held after the race with everything from gift cards to a 32″ flat screen TV. The event will wrap up with a huge tailgate party and free food for everyone! Early registration is $20. Registration after July 31st is $25.
