Riverview Theatre Now Open!

Today was a great day for Riverview HealthCARE. Our mission is to radically change landscape of healthcare forever, and today we reached another milestone in that journey. The much anticipated opening of our new Riverview Theatre was held today. At Riverview we are seeking to build a community full of life for all of our elders. Our community has already celebrated the opening of our Mugg-Z Café, Fred Harris Memorial Library, and also has a post office, barber shop/beauty salon, and a community chapel. Now we have a real movie theatre that can be enjoyed by our elders, care partners, and families.
Our elders voted and chose two holiday classics for our grand opening event. “Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer” and “Frosty the Snowman” was the double feature, and the two stars even made a special red carpet appearance. Our elders took a stroll down the red carpet and stopped at the ticket booth to get their tickets. They then entered the theatre and made a stop for popcorn, soda, and their favorite classic movie theatre snacks. It was certainly a fun evening and there will certainly be more entertaining evenings to come at the Riverview Theatre!
